    房外柏哲氏病:這是一種罕見的癌前病變,以濕疹型態發生於乳頭及乳暈上。濕疹後來會形成一片邊緣有硬皮的傷口。我不曾懷疑這可能是癌症,但癌症找到了我。 我的乳房並沒有任何異狀,我看醫師唯一的理由是因為這偶爾會發癢、疼痛,十分惱人又醜陋的濕疹。 家庭 醫師開給我的任何乳膏都無法除去它; 皮膚科 醫師先前給 我的眼周皮膚病藥物也無法治好它。讓似乎讓人感到不安,但無法使我聯想到癌症的到來。
     
    我懷疑許多的女性朋友們都不知道乳暈及乳頭上的濕疹可能象徵乳癌。 ( 我一開始的症狀僅是乳頭上冒出一個小痘子 )  柏哲氏病之所以可怕的理由之一,就是因為:乳頭上那似乎無害的細菌感染或是發炎,卻在延誤就醫後一發不可收拾。
     
    有哪些症狀呢?
    1.       乳頭有持續的紅腫、不明分泌物以及導致搔癢及灼熱感的硬皮剝落。  ( 我一開始的時候除了一邊乳房有硬皮剝落外,沒有其他症狀)
    2.       乳頭上有無法癒合的傷口。  ( 我當初的傷口分布在乳暈,乳頭中央並且有白色濃稠分泌物 )
    3.       通常只有一邊乳房被感染。這怎麼判斷呢?您的醫師會在觸壓檢查以後,建議您立刻做兩個乳房的X光攝影。因為正常皮膚炎的症狀為紅腫、硬皮剝落以及不明分泌物,所以醫師只有在症狀僅產生於單一乳房時,才會懷疑癌症的可能性。屆時進行發炎部位的病理切片,就能找出病因。

    BRAIN DAMAGING HABITS
    1. No Breakfast
    People who do not take breakfast are going to have a lower blood sugar level. This leads to an insufficient supply of nutrients to the brain causing brain degeneration.

    2. Overeating
    It causes hardening of the brain arteries, leading to a decrease in mental power.
     
    3. Smoking
    It causes multiple brain shrinkage and may lead to Alzheimer disease.
     
    4. High Sugar Consumption
    Too much sugar will interrupt the absorption of proteins and nutrients causing malnutrition and may interfere with brain development.
     
    5. Air Pollution
    The brain is the largest oxygen consumer in our body. Inhaling polluted air decreases the supply of oxygen to the brain, bringing about a decrease in brain efficiency.
     
    6. Sleep Deprivation
    Sleep allows our brain to rest. Long term deprivation from sleep will accelerate the death of brain cells.
     
    7. Head covered while sleeping
    Sleeping with the head covered, increases the concentration of carbon dioxide and decrease concentration of oxygen that may lead to brain damaging effects.
     
    8. Working your brain during illness
    Working hard or studying with sickness may lead to a decrease in effectiveness of the brain as well as damage the brain.
     
    9. Lacking in stimulating thoughts
    Thinking is the best way to train our brain, lacking in brain stimulation thoughts may cause brain shrinkage.

    10. Talking Rarely
    Intellectual conversations will promote the efficiency of the brain
    The main causes of liver damage are:

    1. Sleeping too late and waking up too late are main cause.
    2. Not urinating in the morning.
    3. Too much eating.
    4. Skipping breakfast.
    5. Consuming too much medication.
    6. Consuming too much preservatives, additives, food coloring, and artificial sweetener.
    7. Consuming unhealthy cooking oil. As much as possible reduce cooking oil use when frying, which includes even the best cooking oils like olive oil. Do not consume fried foods when you are tired, except if the body is very fit.
    8. Consuming raw (overly done) foods also add to the burden of liver.
    9. Veggies should be eaten raw or cooked 3-5 parts. Fried veggies should be finished in one sitting, do not store.


    We should prevent this without necessarily spending more. We just have to adopt a good daily lifestyle and eating habits. Maintaining good eating habits and time condition are very important for our bodies to absorb and get rid of unnecessary chemicals according to "schedule."


    Because:

    Evening at 9 - 11pm
    : is the time for eliminating unnecessary/toxic chemicals (detoxification) from the antibody system (lymph nodes). This time duration should be spent by relaxing or listening to music. If during this time a housewife is still in an unrelaxed state such as washing the dishes or monitoring children doing their homework, this will have a negative impact on health.

    Evening at 11pm - 1am:
    is the detoxification process in the liver, and ideally should be done in a deep sleep state.

    Early morning 1 - 3am:
    detoxification process in the gall, also ideally done in a deep sleep state.
    Early morning 3 - 5am:
    detoxification in the lungs. Therefore there will sometimes be a severe cough for cough sufferers during this time. Since the detoxification process had reached the respiratory tract, there is no need to take cough medicine so as not to interfere with toxin removal process.
    Morning 5 - 7am:
    detoxification in the colon, you should empty your bowel.
    Morning 7 - 9am: absorption of nutrients in the small intestine, you should be having breakfast at this time. Breakfast should be earlier, before 6:30am, for those who are sick. Breakfast before 7:30am is very beneficial to those wanting to stay fit. Those who always skip breakfast, they should change their habits, and it is still better to eat breakfast late until 9 - 10am rather than no meal at all.
    Sleeping so late and waking up too late will disrupt the process of removing unnecessary chemicals. Aside from that, midnight to 4:00 am is the time when the bone marrow produces blood. Therefore, have a good sleep and don't sleep late.

    Good method of healing headache---from my old e-mail

    I tried and it works for me most of the time! I used Gatorade+warm water 1:1 or 1:2, even for headache cause by Flu!

    我老公公司在幫醫院做電腦規劃工作,
    之前就有幾個跟他熟絡的醫師.....西醫喔,
    而且是主治醫師級的喔。
    他們告訴我老公說,他們自己生病時都不吃西藥,
    都是看中醫吃中藥喔,
    因為西藥太毒了,
    什麼普拿疼之類的根本都不敢吃。
    也跟我老公說如果頭疼時,不要吃頭痛藥,
    去買運動飲料(不冰的)來兌溫熱開水喝,
    大概1比1 或1比2 的比例,喝個一兩大杯,
     比吃藥還有效又不傷身。
    因為頭痛多半是因電解質不平衡所引起的,
    但是如果單喝運動飲料又太濃,
    而冰水跟冷水也對身體不好,所以加溫水稀釋。
    而且我們試過之後,也覺得真的比吃普拿疼還有效。
    即使感冒引起的頭痛,也很有效。
    這是希望大家告訴大家。

    STROKE: Remember The 1st Three Steps


    STROKE IDENTIFICATION:
    During a BBQ, a friend stumbled and took a little fall - she assured everyone that she was fine (they offered to call paramedics) and just tripped over a brick because of her new shoes. They got her cleaned up and got her a new plate of food - while she appeared a bit shaken up, Ingrid went about enjoying herself the rest of the evening. Ingrid's husband called later telling everyone that his wife had been taken to the hospital - (at 6:00pm, Ingrid passed away.) She had suffered a stroke at the BBQ. Had they known how to identify the signs of a stroke, perhaps Ingrid would be with us today. Some ?don't die. They end up in a helpless, hopeless condition instead.

    A neurologist says that if he can get to a stroke victim within 3 hours he can totally reverse the effects of a stroke... totally. He said the trick was getting a stroke recognized, diagnosed, and then getting the patient medically cared for within 3 hours, which is tough.


    RECOGNIZING A STR OKE
    Thank God for the sense to remember the '3' steps, STR . Read and Learn!
    Sometimes symptoms of a stroke are difficult to identify. Unfortunately, the lack of awareness spells disaster. The stroke victim may suffer severe brain damage when people nearby fail to recognize the symptoms of a stroke.
    Now doctors say a bystander can recognize a stroke by asking three simple questions:


    S *Ask the individual to SMILE.
    T *Ask the person to TALK, to SPEAK A SIMPLE SENTENCE (Coherently: It is sunny out today.)
    R *Ask him or her to RAISE BOTH ARMS.


    {NOTE: Another 'sign' of a stroke is this: Ask the person to 'stick' out their tongue... if the tongue is 'crooked', if it goes to one side or the other that is also an indication of a stroke}


    If he or she has trouble with ANY ONE of these tasks, call 9-1-1 immediately and describe the symptoms to the dispatcher.


    A cardiologist says if everyone who gets this e-mail sends it to 10 people; you can bet that at least one life will be saved.

    喝水行程表

    (資料由香港美容專業雜誌提供健康飲水式)

    真正有效的飲水方法,是指一口氣(或一次過)
    將一整杯水(約200-250毫升)喝完為止,

    而不是隨便喝兩口便算,這樣才可令身體真正吸收使用。
    當然,所謂一次過飲水並非一定要一口氣喝完。
    如果只隨便喝一兩口來「止渴」,對身體根本無濟於事。

    飲好水

    盡量避免常飲蒸餾水(一般蒸餾水的水性太酸,容易傷害身體,
    對腎臟較弱的人士則更為不利),可選擇優質的礦泉水。
    如可以的話,飲用鹼性水對人體最有利;
    否則,在家用濾水器過濾後煮熟再喝亦無不可。
    總的來說,如沒選擇,飲比不飲好!!

    飲暖水

    夏日炎炎,很多人都會選擇飲冰水,又或特意在水中加冰飲用。
    其實冰水對胃臟功能不利,飲和暖開水更為有益,
    因為這特別有助身體吸收使用,更有助腸胃消化。

    空腹飲水

    當然,飲水隨時都可以,口渴時才飲用往往只能解渴,未能濟事。
    有效的飲水方法乃在空腹時飲用
    水會直接從消化管道中流通,被身體吸收;
    吃飽後才飲水,對身體健康所起的作用比不上空腹飲水好,
    試試看吧!

    能放能收

    上班一族常常會因工作關係疏忽了飲水,
    又或者為了避免「借尿」小休的猜疑而寧願不喝水;
    在此特別奉勸各位朋友切勿以「常去廁所」為理由而避免喝水。
    長此下去,膀胱和腎都會受損害,容易引起腰酸背痛。
    只要慢慢養成飲水習慣,膀胱接收慣了,
    上廁所的頻率自然也漸漸減少。
    但每天喝八杯水,上廁所七至八次亦屬正常,
    是新陳代謝必須的更替。


    切記飲水之道,並不在乎滿足喉乾頸渴,
    口乾時才喝一口水根本毫不濟事。
    水之於身體,就好像氧氣般重要。給身體喝水,
    是延年益壽的不二法門;
    給身體喝水,是亮麗皮膚的基本原則。
    為了健康,為了美,水,又那有不喝的道理呢?

    AM7:00
    經過一整夜的睡眠,身體開始缺水,
    起床之際先喝杯250CC的水,可幫助腎臟及肝臟解毒。
    別馬上吃早餐,等待半小時讓水融入每個細胞,
    進行新陳代謝後,再進食!
    (非常重要!身體排污靠晒佢!)

    AM9:00
    清晨從起床到辦公室的過程,時間總是特別緊湊,
    情緒也較緊張,身體無形中會出現脫水現象,
    所以到了辦公室後,先別急著泡咖啡,
    給自己一杯至少250CC的水!

    AM11:00
    在冷氣房裡工作一段時間後,一定得趁起身動動的時候,
    再給自己一天裡的第三杯水,補充流失的水分,
    有助於放鬆緊張的工作情緒!

    PM12:30
    用完午餐半小時後,喝一些水,取代讓妳發胖的人工飲料,
    可以加強身體的消化功能,
    不僅對健康有益,也能助你維持身材。

    PM4:00
    以一杯健康礦泉水代替午茶與咖啡等提神飲料吧!
    喝上一大杯水,除了補充在冷氣房裡流失的水份之外,
    還能幫助頭腦清醒。

    PM6:30
    下班離開辦公室前,再喝一杯水。
    想要運用喝水減重的,可以多喝幾杯,
    增加飽足感,待會吃晚餐時,自然不會暴飲暴食。

    PM9:00
    睡前一至半小時再喝上一杯水,目標達成!
    今天已攝取2000CC水量了。
    不過別一口氣喝太多,以免晚上得上洗手間影響睡眠品質。

    HEADACHE? EAT FISH!
    Eat plenty of fish -- fish oil helps prevent headaches.
     So does ginger, which reduces inflammation and pain.

     HAVE FEVER?
    EAT YOGURT!
    Eat lots of yogurt before pollen season.
     Also-eat honey from your area (local region) daily.

    TO PREVENT STROKE DRINK TEA!
    Prevent buildup of fatty deposits on artery walls with regular doses of tea. (actually, tea suppresses my appetite and keeps the pounds from invading....Green tea is great for our immune system)!

    INSOMNIA (CAN'T SLEEP?) HONEY!
     Use honey as a tranquilizer and sedative.

     ASTHMA?
    EAT ONIONS!!!!
    Eating onions helps ease constriction of bronchial tubes. (when I was young, my mother would make onion packs to place on our chest, helped the respiratory ailments and actually made us breathe better).

     ARTHRITIS?
    EAT FISH, TOO!!
     Salmon, tuna, mackerel and sardines actually prevent arthritis.
    (fish has omega oils, good for our immune system)

    UPSET STOMACH?  BANANAS - GINGER!!!!!
    Bananas will settle an upset stomach.
     Ginger will cure morning sickness and nausea.

     BLADDER INFECTION?
    DRINK CRANBERRY JUICE!!!!
    High-acid cranberry juice controls harmful bacteria.

     BONE PROBLEMS?
    EAT PINEAPPLE!!!
     Bone fractures and osteoporosis can be prevented by the manganese in pineapple.

     PREMENSTRUAL SYNDROME?
    EAT CORNFLAKES!!!!
    Women can ward off the effects of PMS with cornflakes, which help reduce depression, anxiety and fatigue.

     MEMORY PROBLEMS?
    EAT OYSTERS!
    Oysters help improve your mental functioning by supplying much-needed zinc.

     COLDS?
    EAT GARLIC!
    Clear up that stuffy head with garlic. (remember, garlic lowers cholesterol, too.)

    COUGHING? USE RED PEPPERS!!
     A substance similar to that found in the cough syrups is found in hot red pepper. Use red (cayenne) pepper with caution-it can irritate your tummy.

     BREAST CANCER?
     EAT Wheat, bran and cabbage
     Helps to maintain estrogen at healthy levels.

     LUNG CANCER?
    EAT DARK GREEN AND ORANGE AND VEGGIES!!!
    A good antidote is beta carotene, a form of Vitamin A found in dark green and orange vegetables.

     ULCERS?
    EAT CABBAGE ALSO!!!
     Cabbage contains chemicals that help heal both gastric and duodenal ulcers.

    DIARRHEA? EAT APPLES!
    Grate an apple with its skin, let it turn brown and eat it to cure this condition. (Bananas are good for this ailment)

     CLOGGED ARTERIES?
    EAT AVOCADO!
    Mono unsaturated fat in avocados lowers cholesterol.

     HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE?
    EAT CELERY AND OLIVE OIL!!!
     Olive oil has been shown to lower blood pressure.
     Celery contains a chemical that lowers pressure too.

     BLOOD SUGAR IMBALANCE?
    EAT BROCCOLI AND PEANUTS!!!
    The chromium in broccoli and peanuts helps regulate insulin and blood sugar.

     Kiwi:
    Tiny but mighty. This is a good source of potassium, magnesium, Vitamin E &fiber. It's Vitamin C content is twice that of an orange.

     Apple:
    An apple a day keeps the doctor away? Although an apple has a low Vitamin C content, it has antioxidants &flavonoids which enhances the activity of Vitamin C thereby helping to lower the risks of colon cancer, heart attack & stroke.

    Strawberry: Protective fruit. Strawberries have the highest total antioxidant power among major fruits &protects the body from cancer causing, blood vessels clogging free radicals. (Actually, any berry is good for you..they're high in anti-oxidants and they actually keep us young.........blueberries are the best and very versatile in the health field........they get rid of all the free-radicals that invade our bodies)

     Orange:
    Sweetest medicine. Taking 2 - 4 oranges a day may help keep colds away, lower cholesterol, prevent & dissolve kidney stones as well as lessen the risk of colon cancer.

     Watermelon:
    Coolest Thirst Quencher. Composed of 92% water, it is also packed with a giant dose of glutathione which helps boost our immune system.  They are also a key source of lycopene - the cancer fighting oxidant.  Other nutrients   
     found in watermelon are Vitamin C &Potassium.
    (watermelon also has natural substances [natural SPF sources] that keep our skin healthy, protecting our skin from those darn suv rays)

     
     Guava &Papaya:
    Top awards for Vitamin C. They are the clear winners for their high Vitamin C content. Guava is also rich in fiber which helps prevent constipation.

     Papaya
    is rich in carotene, this is good for your eyes. (also good for gas and indigestion)

    Tomatoes are very good as a preventative measure for men, keeps those prostrate problems from invading their bodies

    明報專訊】糖尿足 (2007年3月5日)

    糖尿病患者的胰臟不能製造足夠的胰島素,導致葡萄糖無法充分進入細胞內,血糖濃度就會升高,形成糖尿病,患者下肢的末梢神經會遭破壞。由於神經受損,令患者失去足部知覺,因而容易受傷而導致關節病變及傷口潰爛,嚴重時甚至要截肢。

    患有糖尿足的人要避免足部受傷,因此應選保護力特強的鞋子﹕

    ●應穿著特殊之糖尿病鞋及鞋墊,這種鞋的特點是鞋頭空間增加,縫線減少,鞋墊可幫助分散足底壓力,避免壓力集中在某一點,因而避免因為摩擦而出現傷口

    ●應選密嘴圓頭鞋,以及用魔術貼或鞋帶的鞋子,平底無鞋跟更佳

    ●以柔軟物料製造的鞋子較佳

    ●穿著前,要確保鞋內沒有雜物如沙石、釘子等,以免腳部感覺遲鈍而被弄傷

    ●不可赤腳走路

    扁平足

    足部內側的「足弓」,在人走動時提供適度的彈力和扭力,並吸收地面的反作用力,以達到吸震的效果。扁平足因弓起的高度不足,易致重心不穩。運動時最好加上足弓墊,減輕肌肉疲勞。

    患有扁平足的人,應選擇能固定及承托因扁平足而引發的足跟外翻變形。因此,選購鞋子時要注意﹕

    ●應選擇硬皮密嘴鞋,綁帶鞋更佳,以幫助中足之支撐及穩定

    ●短靴以過腳眼為標準

    ●鞋跟高度約半寸。堅硬的鞋跟,可穩定後足及中足,並且減少距骨(後跟骨)下關節及跗骨(足中掌)間關節的活動

    ●不宜穿布鞋、帆船鞋、涼鞋或拖鞋

    ●選用全接觸半硬式鞋墊,以減少距骨下關節內旋,減少韌帶壓力,穩定蹠骨(足前掌)間關節

    大姆趾外翻

    正常的拇趾外偏角度為10至15度,若超過15度就為拇趾外翻。避免足患日益嚴重,選購鞋子時要注意﹕

    ●避免高跟鞋及尖頭鞋

    ●應選擇柔軟的物料、寬頭、密嘴及平底鞋,旨在給大姆趾充分空間為主

    ●已形成姆趾黏液囊腫大者,應選擇涼鞋、人字拖,用以避開大姆趾囊腫與鞋之摩擦,以及分隔大姆趾及二趾
