    my working place

    終於都返咗五日工啦...........I have this job for 5 days now........
     
     
    其實除咗遠之外,公司的返エ時間幾好!other than the distance, it's a very good company to work at!
     
    彈性上班,每日返9小時,食lunch 半小時,每天返多半小時,每個月有一個Friday放,五六日,好爽呀!
    Flexi hour, work for 9 hours, 0.5 hour lunch, total time for each day is 8.5 hours and we get the earn day off on a Friday! (Fri, Sat, Sun)
     
    咖啡,tea, hot chocolate 任飲!
    Free tea, coffee and hot chocolate!

    surgery..........(chinese only)

    今天是小狗做手術的日子,從上午開始......一直也很擔心......回家看到她,見到她的傷口比預期大,並縫了很多針.....心痛極了....再加上她不肯喝水並撒了尿,把毛毛弄濕了.知道她一定不好受!

    唯一可以為她做就是盡量安撫她,替她用kitchen towel把濕了的毛毛輕輕印乾.....如果可以的,我情願痛的是我........因為我已經經歴過手術的痛!希望她快些康復!

    第一日返エ my first day at work

    今天第一日返新工,雖然要好早起身,揸一個小時車返エ,放工又要楂1.5 hours回家,但同事們很好,所以我也不介意2.5 hours travel time!

    it's my first day at work, although I have to wake up early, 1 hour drive to work and from work I have to spent 1.5 hours to drive back home. 

    However, my colleagues are very good and nice to me, so I don't mind the long travel time!

    所以在此要用以下呢句 Therefore I have to use the following phrase to describe myself for the job

     

    "我要做好呢份工"  " I will do my best"

    有工返

    終於都有!回想起這份的波折,更領我看得到這神的恩典!

    這份エ和另一份エ作一起出現,另一份山job亦有2nd interview and actually offer me to work.........但我知道I am not ready for the other one. I have asked God and prayed as well, however, I know God has given us the choice to choose, I just don't want to walk faster than God........

    After I prayed, I am more comfortable to decline the other job than to aceept it, so I have put my Faith in God and trusting Him that He will give me the best....Now, I have this job and the boss I am going to deal with is a very nice lady. How do I know? My friend work in the same company.

    Thank you God for His Grace and giving me a faithful heart to Him.

    每一次看到消防員入火場救人,都希望他們平平安安地出來............... 
     

    在Charleston (South Carolina),一間super sofa store起火,消防員進入火場把僱員救出,當他們正在火場的時候,全間店鋪被火包圍,一舜間把所有的玻璃窗弄碎.........並引至屋頂整個塌下................九名英勇的消防員從此與家人永別..................

    從前在香港,總認為端午節很悶,一開着電視常常有龍舟比賽......但在多倫多住下來,又覺得這邊的端午節更悶......正日沒有龍舟比賽,雖然還是有粽吃,但總是比不上香港的粽...........我仍是一個"香港人"呀!

    There is always problem when installing new programme and it's also time consuming.....sometimes I just wonder if there is no computer, no e-mail, no blackberry, no cell phone........what will people do??

    ltlian and indian wedding

    昨天去了一個意大利加印度的婚禮,盡興而回,很開心!

    婚禮在一所小教堂舉行,晚上在一所banquet hall用膳,以前曾聽過/上堂學過意大利人的飲宴是出名多食物,果然是真的...........

    Antipasta------buffet 形式,有Mussel, clam,salmon fish (whole fish), calamri,smoke salmon,cold cut, pasta salad.........

    Appertizer------pasta-----mushroom risotto and Italian "won ton"

    Main Course-------Chicken breast in some kind of source and deep fry lobster tail, assorted vegetables, grill mash potatos and green salad with mandarine

    Dessert-------好正! 有不同生果形狀的ice  cream----遲D post photos 上來!

    Health tips

    BRAIN DAMAGING HABITS
    1. No Breakfast
    People who do not take breakfast are going to have a lower blood sugar level. This leads to an insufficient supply of nutrients to the brain causing brain degeneration.

    2. Overeating
    It causes hardening of the brain arteries, leading to a decrease in mental power.
     
    3. Smoking
    It causes multiple brain shrinkage and may lead to Alzheimer disease.
     
    4. High Sugar Consumption
    Too much sugar will interrupt the absorption of proteins and nutrients causing malnutrition and may interfere with brain development.
     
    5. Air Pollution
    The brain is the largest oxygen consumer in our body. Inhaling polluted air decreases the supply of oxygen to the brain, bringing about a decrease in brain efficiency.
     
    6. Sleep Deprivation
    Sleep allows our brain to rest. Long term deprivation from sleep will accelerate the death of brain cells.
     
    7. Head covered while sleeping
    Sleeping with the head covered, increases the concentration of carbon dioxide and decrease concentration of oxygen that may lead to brain damaging effects.
     
    8. Working your brain during illness
    Working hard or studying with sickness may lead to a decrease in effectiveness of the brain as well as damage the brain.
     
    9. Lacking in stimulating thoughts
    Thinking is the best way to train our brain, lacking in brain stimulation thoughts may cause brain shrinkage.

    10. Talking Rarely
    Intellectual conversations will promote the efficiency of the brain
    The main causes of liver damage are:

    1. Sleeping too late and waking up too late are main cause.
    2. Not urinating in the morning.
    3. Too much eating.
    4. Skipping breakfast.
    5. Consuming too much medication.
    6. Consuming too much preservatives, additives, food coloring, and artificial sweetener.
    7. Consuming unhealthy cooking oil. As much as possible reduce cooking oil use when frying, which includes even the best cooking oils like olive oil. Do not consume fried foods when you are tired, except if the body is very fit.
    8. Consuming raw (overly done) foods also add to the burden of liver.
    9. Veggies should be eaten raw or cooked 3-5 parts. Fried veggies should be finished in one sitting, do not store.


    We should prevent this without necessarily spending more. We just have to adopt a good daily lifestyle and eating habits. Maintaining good eating habits and time condition are very important for our bodies to absorb and get rid of unnecessary chemicals according to "schedule."


    Because:

    Evening at 9 - 11pm
    : is the time for eliminating unnecessary/toxic chemicals (detoxification) from the antibody system (lymph nodes). This time duration should be spent by relaxing or listening to music. If during this time a housewife is still in an unrelaxed state such as washing the dishes or monitoring children doing their homework, this will have a negative impact on health.

    Evening at 11pm - 1am:
    is the detoxification process in the liver, and ideally should be done in a deep sleep state.

    Early morning 1 - 3am:
    detoxification process in the gall, also ideally done in a deep sleep state.
    Early morning 3 - 5am:
    detoxification in the lungs. Therefore there will sometimes be a severe cough for cough sufferers during this time. Since the detoxification process had reached the respiratory tract, there is no need to take cough medicine so as not to interfere with toxin removal process.
    Morning 5 - 7am:
    detoxification in the colon, you should empty your bowel.
    Morning 7 - 9am: absorption of nutrients in the small intestine, you should be having breakfast at this time. Breakfast should be earlier, before 6:30am, for those who are sick. Breakfast before 7:30am is very beneficial to those wanting to stay fit. Those who always skip breakfast, they should change their habits, and it is still better to eat breakfast late until 9 - 10am rather than no meal at all.
    Sleeping so late and waking up too late will disrupt the process of removing unnecessary chemicals. Aside from that, midnight to 4:00 am is the time when the bone marrow produces blood. Therefore, have a good sleep and don't sleep late.

    It's been 18 years since 1989 June 4th

    I still remember the time when it was 1989 June 4th......I was in England....turned on the TV early in the morning at 6:00am.....I still remember the "Hero stand in front of the tank"...and all those who sacrificed their life.........

    支聯會在維園舉行悼念六四事件18周年的燭光晚會結束,主辦者表示有5萬5千人參加,較去年為多。

    晚會在8時開始,10時結束,入場的市民坐滿6個足球場。支聯會表示,入場人數有5萬5千人,較去年多1萬1千人,警方說今年有2萬七千人參加,去年有1萬9千人;零五年的出席人數主辦者說有4萬5千人,警方說有2萬2千人。

    燭光晚會舉行前,天主教支援愛國民主運動聯合會二百人在維園涼亭舉行祈禱會,悼念六四死難者。香港教區樞機主教陳日君    主持祈禱會,祈禱會後陳日君離開,沒有參加燭光晚會。

    按照大會程序,支聯會先誦讀六四死難者及離世死難者家屬名單,其後會進行獻花,主席司徒華    將會致悼辭,他提到國內的維權運動,此伏彼起,蔓延全國。在經濟發展的同時,貪污腐敗更猖獗、貧富更懸殊、道德更敗壞、弱勢社群更受欺壓、社會矛盾更深化激化。

    之後,大會安排默哀一分鍾。在晚會期間,會播放六四死難者家屬李雪文錄像和當年領袖王丹    為今次18周年的講話。

    王丹表示,大家一定要堅持下去,一直到公理和正義得到伸張的那一天。否則,即使中國有再強大的經濟實力,也無法在國際社會崛起。

    支聯會副主席李卓人    表示,民建聯    主席馬力    早前指六四事件沒有屠殺,促使較多人參加今晚的燭光晚會。
